What Is It?
The program combines veterinarians, DNA testing and microchip permanent identification to provide owners security and assurance of their pet’s genetic health.
Animals obtained with a VGA certificate, have been microchipped, examined by a veterinarian and had their DNA tested for a over 50 heritable genetic diseases.
The program also offers breeders an opportunity to demonstrate that they make every effort to ensure animals they breed, are clear of genetic or heritable disease.
