Dr Flaminia Coiacetto BVSc (Hons), MVetClinStud, Dip ACVP

Dr Flaminia (Minia) Coiacetto graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013. Upon graduation, Minia volunteered in mixed practice in Nepal after which she returned to work in small animal practice in Sydney. She completed a residency in anatomic pathology at The Animal Hospital at Murdoch University. 

In 2018, Minia attained Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in Anatomic Pathology. 

Dr Coiacetto is currently completing a PhD on neuropathology in Carnaby’s cockatoos at Murdoch University. 

Minia has worked as a lecturer at Murdoch University since 2017 and during this time has developed a strong skillset in both complex surgical and post-mortem diagnostics. Minia has a strong interest in all aspects of diagnostic pathology, however has a particular passion for avian and exotics pathology and neuropathology. She finds discussing cases with submitting veterinarians very rewarding and looks forward to developing strong working relationships with clients.
